Tourism Schengen visa application

Basic requirements stated by the Embassy of Croatia in New Delhi; additional documents may be requested.

  • Completed and signed visa application form

    In English or Croatian.

  • Valid passport

    Issued within the last 10 years; at least two empty pages; valid at least three months beyond requested visa expiry.

  • Recent colour photograph

    35x45 mm; not older than 3 months.

  • Travel medical insurance

    Minimum coverage equivalent to EUR 30,000 for repatriation and urgent medical assistance.

  • Return travel ticket or confirmed booking
  • Proof of tourism purpose and accommodation

    Hotel or other accommodation booking, or day-to-day itinerary with ensured accommodation.

  • Proof of financial means

    Three months bank statement and three years income tax returns.

  • Proof of current social and professional status
  • Covering letter

    Explaining purpose of the intended visit to Croatia.
